POOR SERVANTS OF THE MOTHER OF GOD

Celebrating the Season of Creation

From September 1 to October 4, Christians around the world unite to pray and care for creation. It’s the “Season of Creation,” and it’s happening from Paris to Pittsburgh, from London to Limuru. During the Season of Creation, we join together to rejoice in the good gift of creation and reflect on how we care for it. This season offers a precious opportunity to pause in the midst of our day-to-day lives and contemplate the fabric of life into which we are woven.  Take time to appreciate the ordinary plant and animal life visible from your own door; take time to breathe deeply; savour the taste of fresh fruit or vegetables and give thanks! notice the frequent references to nature in the psalms “seas and rivers praise the Lord”. Enjoy a special walk or outing in a spirit of thanksgiving… Be aware.

Kairos will host an afternoon to celebrate creation on Saturday 22nd September 2.30—5pm.

Can you  celebrate with friends?
