Feast of the Holy Innocents

We have a lot of children in our school now. Noelle Sargant, an American, was born on Christmas Day. She is so pretty. Eugenie is a small Jewess, and so good. We have three boarders, Joseph, Vincent and Daisy, aged 6, 4 and 3. Vincent used to be quite naughty, but now he is better. He was brought to me for judgement. After this, he sent me a message: ‘He was never going to be naughty again, as long as he lived!’

We pray for all children today, that they may keep their innocence, which is the shining gift of childhood. We ask their guardian angels to protect them and to keep them from harm.
