Another reminder to help reduce plastic usage.
We use an estimated 8.5 billion plastic straws every year in the UK. 
They’re among the top 10 items found in beach clean-ups. They’re often made of plastics which take hundreds of years to decompose and are only used for a very short time. It’s even been suggested that plastic straws could be banned in the UK. Many major companies have promised to replace them before the end of 2018. Among these are MacDonalds, Wetherspoons, Waitrose, and some coffee chains.
