Manila: Sr Mary Whelan at Meeting of Union of International Superiors General
Sister Mary Whelan recently attended the meeting of Delegates of the Union of International Superiors General – UISG . She 
has been the UK delegate for the past 3 years. The meeting was held in Manila, Philippines from 3-11 November and the theme was “Building Community in an Intercultural World”. The meeting was attended by over sixty Delegates from many countries around the world. The picture shows Sr. Mary, 2nd from left, with the daily Faith Sharing Group – Sr. Carmen, President of UISG, Sr. Letti, South Africa and Sr. Constance, US. The next Plenary meeting in Rome in 2019 will develop this theme.
