Feast of St. George, Patron Saint of England

Let us follow the path that the Saints who have already gone home, have marked out for us, that we may be able to keep in their footprints. We too are soldiers in God’s army. Our battlefield is the conquering of our own will. After each retreat we go back to the battlefield to “fight and not to heed the wounds”.

Pray today for the people of England, that God will bless them and lead them to Mary their mother and protectress. That England may once again be the dowry of Mary was a great desire of Mother Magdalen’s, and she prayed to St. George and the English Saints for that intention.
