“Let me be Your servant, Lord, in the quiet rhythms of ordinary days and in the sacred moments that surprise us with grace.”
Our spirituality is rooted in the vision of St Ignatius, who taught us to see God at work in the simple, the familiar, the everyday. To him, nothing was too small, nothing too ordinary - for God is found in all things.
Everything we do, every step we take, is offered for the greater glory of God, captured by the famous phrase AMDG (Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam).
We carry, too, the living dream of our Foundress, Frances Taylor - Mother Magdalen, who believed with her whole heart that we are called to be Christ-bearers.
Bearers of His light in shadowed places, of His love where hearts are weary, of His compassion where pain is unseen, of His healing, where hope feels fragile.
She was captivated by the mystery and wonder of the Incarnation - that God chose to share our humanity, our laughter and our tears, our strength and our vulnerability.
In that holy sharing, she saw a profound call: to honour every human person, to uphold their dignity, to help them flourish in joy and fulfilment.
Her vision urges us outward - towards the forgotten, the wounded, the voiceless. It calls us to kneel in humility and rise in courage, to love through service, to become hands that lift, hearts that listen, lives poured out for others.
And so we are:
Women, blessed and anointed. Called to be Christ-bearers, as Mary was, holding His presence within us, carrying His light into the dark places of our world through prayer and presence.
Offering hope where despair lingers, support where there is weariness, and understanding where there is longing.
“Let me be Your servant, Lord - today, and always.”
