“Come away by yourselves to a quiet place and rest a while”.

Mark 6:31

Retreat is an invitation to step aside from the noise of daily life and rest in God’s presence. In creating spaces of stillness and welcome, we offer an atmosphere shaped for contemplation, prayer, and renewal.

The Kairos Centre, our Catholic spirituality and conference centre in south-west London, is set in secluded gardens near Richmond Park. Here, individuals and groups are welcomed into a peaceful place for prayer, reflection, retreats, spiritual direction, quiet days, and residential stays — a space to pause, listen, and be renewed.

Serving Through Presence

Through parish visiting and participation in parochial life, we seek to meet each person with respect, warmth, and openness. By listening attentively, we honour people’s experiences, feelings, and viewpoints, even when they differ from our own.

We strive to challenge stereotypes, communicate with honesty and kindness, and create spaces of welcome and belonging. We hope that everyone feels valued, included, and celebrated for the unique gifts they bring.
