Don’t let us have to say at the point of death: ‘I have looked after my own comfort, I was thoughtless of others; where I should have shown kindness, I didn’t.’ If we neglect to correct these faults now, it will be too late then.
‘I shall pass this way but once. Whatever good I can do, let me do it now’ is surely our prayer today.
