Profession in Kenya

Sr. Cecilia Minoo, Diocese of Machakos, Kenya made her First Profession on 31^st July at Baraka House, Mwingi.

The numbers attending the ceremony were limited due to COVID but Sisters from the seven SMG communities in East Africa were represented at this very colourful and joyful occasion when Cecilia was welcomed into the Congregation.  Bishop Joseph Mwongela,Kitui, was the principal Celebrant of the Mass, assisted by priests from Kitui and Machakos Dioceses.  Sr. Meki Ngemu SMG received her vows while family members, parishioners and Religious Sisters and Brothers from other Congregations witnessed  Cecilia’s act of commitment and promised to support her.
