My prayer, hope and desire for you today is peace of mind. Peace and self cannot dwell together, for any thought of self-love banishes peace. I want you all to have peace in its fullness, having all your affections centred on him who never disappoints.
Lord, if I have been too busy to offer you the eyes of Mary today, accept at least, I pray you, the tired hands of Martha. They are my love for you, and your peace for me.
