Love doesn’t consist in words, but in sacrifices. Show him reverence, show him love, think of him frequently. Attach your heart to him by the cord of love.
The love I have for you, my Lord, is only a shadow of your love for me, your deep, abiding love.
We bathe ourselves in that love today.
